About me

Hi! I'm Sahruda, a student, researcher, youth advocate, climate activist and someone who is almost always eager to learn something new & expand my horizons.

My interests sit at the intersection of medicine, neuroscience, global health, sustainability, and youth advocacy. I'm fascinated not only by how science explains the world, but by how research and innovation can be translated into solutions that improve people's lives. This curiosity has taken me from conducting research and leading global health initiatives to representing India on international platforms, engaging in climate advocacy, and working with young people across cultures.

But I've never believed that learning belongs only in a classroom. Some of my most meaningful experiences have come from conversations, unexpected opportunities, and simply saying yes to something unfamiliar. Whether through leadership opportunities in various forums, Model United Nations, community service, research, art, or the various international programmes that I have been fortunate to be part off, I try to approach every experience with the intention of learning something and leaving something meaningful behind.

Outside all of that, I love travelling, discovering new places, listening to music that matches the moment, and I'm unquestionably an autumn-and-winter person. I enjoy creativity in all its forms and believe that the different experiences we collect gradually shape the way we see the world.

Ultimately, I don't want my journey to be defined only by a list of achievements. I want it to reflect curiosity turned into exploration, opportunities turned into action, and experiences turned into impact.

This website is a little collection of that journey so far, and believe, everything still to come.
